Rufus and I have been working to move BibServer over to elasticsearch. I mentioned this in previous posts, and as Rufus has started using it on other projects, we decided it was a sensible idea.

So, the BibServer backend is now completely elasticsearch. This allows us to maintain the JSON-ness of CouchDB whilst also having the more powerful search functionality of Lucene, all in one package. Really nice.
